Privacy policy

Last updated: 23 April 2026

This policy explains what personal information gofasterwith.ai collects about you when you use this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

gofasterwith.ai is a UK limited company (gofasterwith.ai Ltd, company number 17163921), registered in England and Wales at The Workspace, Boarding School Yard, 90 Marygate, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland, TD15 1BN, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal information processed through this website.

You can reach us about anything in this policy at privacy@gofasterwith.ai. If the message is specifically about your data rights, please mark the subject line “Privacy request” so it reaches the right person quickly.

What information we collect

We collect two kinds of information: information you give us directly, and information we collect automatically when you use the site.

Information you give us

  • Contact details you submit through any form on the site: your name, email address, phone number, company name, and anything else you choose to tell us in a free-text field.
  • Information for the AI Opportunity Report: answers you give us about your business so we can generate the report you asked for.
  • Booking details if you book a discovery call through our calendar tool: name, email, time slot, and any notes you add.
  • Messages you send us by email or through WhatsApp.

Information collected automatically

  • Technical information: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps. This is logged by our hosting provider and by our analytics tool.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. We describe each cookie we set, and which of them need your consent, in our Cookie policy.
  • Fraud and bot signals: Cloudflare Turnstile runs on our forms to tell humans from bots and generates a short-lived token. A hidden honeypot field on our forms helps us detect automated submissions.

Why we use your information

We only process personal information where we have a lawful basis under Article 6 of the UK GDPR.

  • To answer your enquiry or deliver something you asked for (for example, your AI Opportunity Report, or a follow-up call you booked). Lawful basis: performance of a contract with you, or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
  • To send you transactional emails related to something you requested (the report itself, a booking confirmation, a reply to a message). Lawful basis: performance of a contract or our legitimate interests in running the service.
  • To send you a short follow-up sequenceafter you request the AI Opportunity Report (normally four to five emails over a fortnight). Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in following up with people who have expressed interest in our work, relying on the “soft opt-in” under PECR regulation 22(3). Every email has a one-click unsubscribe.
  • To manage our CRM records, track leads, and keep notes on commercial conversations. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in running the business.
  • To analyse how the site is used so we can improve it. Lawful basis: your consent (for non-essential analytics cookies), or our legitimate interests (for aggregated, server-side metrics).
  • To protect the site from abuse, fraud and spam (Turnstile, honeypot, server logs). Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in keeping the site secure.
  • To meet legal obligations where we have to, for example retaining invoicing records for HMRC. Lawful basis: legal obligation.

We do not use your information to make decisions about you by purely automated means. We do not sell your information.

Who we share it with

We use the following service providers to run the site and our business. Each of them acts as a data processor on our behalf and is bound by a written agreement covering security and confidentiality. Some are based outside the UK; where that is the case, we rely on UK-approved safeguards (the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect your information.

We will share information with other parties only where we have to: for example, if we are required to by law, by court order, or by a regulator, or if we are selling or restructuring the business and a prospective buyer needs a limited view of our records under a confidentiality agreement.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not turn into anything: up to 24 months from the last contact, then deleted from the CRM and from Brevo (other than a hash kept for suppression, so we do not email you again by mistake).
  • Active clients and paid engagements: kept for the duration of the engagement and then for 6 years after the last invoice, to meet HMRC and contractual record-keeping requirements.
  • Marketing list: until you unsubscribe or we decide to remove inactive contacts (normally after 24 months with no opens or clicks).
  • Website analytics: aggregated data only, retained for up to 14 months.
  • Server logs: typically 30 days, longer only where we are investigating a security incident.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct information that is wrong;
  • ask us to delete information we no longer need;
  • ask us to restrict how we use your information;
  • ask for your information to be transferred to another provider (portability);
  • object to processing we rely on our legitimate interests for, including direct marketing; and
  • withdraw consent where we are relying on it (for example, for analytics cookies). Withdrawing consent does not affect processing we did before you withdrew it.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@gofasterwith.ai with the subject “Privacy request”. We will respond within one month. We will not charge you for a response unless the request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.

You also have the right to complain to the UK's supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), if you think we have handled your information badly. You can do that at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right ourselves first.

Cookies

We describe every cookie we set, which of them require your consent, and how to manage them, in our Cookie policy.

Children

This website is aimed at business owners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you think we have, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make a material change we will flag it on the home page and, where we have your email address and a lawful basis to do so, we will email you before it takes effect.
